Collage, painting, sculpture, illustration: whatever, Jockum Nordström’s work is shot through with references to popular culture, art brut, jazz, Surrealism, architecture, the folklore of the sea and contemporary art. In the resultant dreamlike fables whole worlds and epochs intersect.
