As is often the case in Pierre Ardouvin’s practice, this monumental work questions the limites of sculpture through the strangeness of its presence. Like most sculptures, it consists of an inanimate object, except that La Chose seems to be breathing, thanks to a ventilation system that constantly inflates and deflates the piece.
