Roundness and reflection.

The cloud, a real divine symbol in the history of art, is, dreamlike and contemporary, shaped in Dessus / Dessous. The three-dimensional sensory installation that the artist offers is made up of a thousand balloons, inviting you to find your head in the clouds and in the vault thanks to a mirror that can make the Hall of Mirrors at the Palace of Versailles blush. It is about living a playful, poetic and perhaps a little unsettling stroll in this cottony and soft universe. Take care, the top literally blends into the bottom!

Eric Vassal is a multidisciplinary artist since his work has developed through a constant exchange between sculpture, painting, printmaking and photography. He first worked as an illustrator for prestigious newspapers such as Le Monde and Le Figaro before entering the visual arts. For his installations, he of course reflects on the link that the work has with space, but he also takes into account the fact that the latter becomes collective through the presence of the public and its journey.
